Florals "In Bloom"

Spring is upon us (or so I hope)! We could definitely use some nice florals to perk up the mucky brown earth and the winter-weary people where I live. Enter the 2011 editorial, "In Bloom" which captures colourful and ethereal model, Liseanne de Jong among fields of tulips. Now, someone get me a bouquet of flowers!

Rankin x Swatch = Love!

A few months ago, I stumbled upon Swatch's 2011 fw collection in collaboration with Rankin and fell so madly in love that I swore that there would never be another watch for me. Rankin, who is known for iconographic portraits of savoury characters, lends Swatch the element of beauty through the kaleidoscopic prism of six irises entitled, "Swatch & Art by Rankin". The whole boxed collection was released limited edition and did not appear on my radar before it was too late and they were discontinued.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I finally mustered the will to try and buy something off eBay, but what, oh what? Well, ladies and gentlemen, the answer is here because today I am the proud owner of the violet iris watch!

Bajabbers, folks! What do you think? Do you love it? Do you hate it?

Lapalette and the Moment I Found Quirky in Moscow

While I traveled Russia over the summer, I fell deathly in love with a bag I found tucked away in an upscale shopping mall in Moscow. Lapalette, a Korean brand, creates eye catching accessories that make the heart flutter with wonder.

Momo Wang Editorial Spring '12

I'm really digging the vibe from Momo Wang's spring collection entitled, "The Third Hand". Made of second-hand material, she skillfully incorporates vibrant patterns and shapes into a touchable narrative reminiscent of the farm and the wild.

Super Prints!

I'm a huge fan of funky printed clothes. Hyper-realistic print adds such an intense element to fashion that it almost feels criminal not to own a piece! However, that's where Mr. Gugu & Miss Go come in. Based out of Poland they feature a variety of printed clothes with each just as fascinating as the last.
